For over 440 years this Provencal tradition has endured in its own particular way in Saint-Tropez on 16th, 17th and 18th May. Both religious and military in origin, the celebration reflects the attachment of the St Tropez inhabitants to their past and their devotion to their Patron Saint.

The last weekend in July provides a date with tradition when the Riva meeting brings together the aficionados of these nautical gems which inevitably evoke the golden years of the Dolce Vita. This large gathering of boats from the Italian constructor Carlo Riva, is well-established in the programme of the most prestigious nautical events and gives the collectors of these legendary boats the pleasure of competing in the most elegant of races on the waters of the Gulf of St Tropez. |

Each year at the same time, more than 250 modern and traditional yachts gather in the bay of Saint-Tropez for an amazing nautical meeting. Organised by the Saint-Tropez Nautical Society, the Voiles de Saint-Tropez, formerly known as La Nioulargue, forms an integral part of the town’s history and an essential feature of its calendar of events. |
